Watch for the unicyclers wheeling around the fairgrounds in the afternoon. This organization works towards public health. Try their activity of washing your hands and then checking to see where germs remain under a black light. Learn how and try hoop dancing, and then put your skills to the test to try to win a free hula hoop. Stop by to check out how CPR saves lives, get a first aid kit, and learn about all the classes available for adults and girls. Some troops have one or two girls in their troop that take all their time and energy. This group offers support and help to those who need it. Girl's get a chance to build a small project from professionals. Learn about the organization and how they help those in need, and learn about emergency preparedness and first aid with a hands on experience. With wall to wall trampolines they offer group parties and events, as well as things such as the Foam Zone, Sky Slam, GLOW, and SkyRobics. More troops are helping this great cause by hosting packing parties or collecting and donating supplies for the kids in foster care. Try stilt walking. Play some parachute games. Learn about what you should do to protect yourself in the sun, ask the skin experts a question, and try an activity from the Sun Safety patch. Try a couple neat hands on activities that nurses learn to do in order to help you with your health. Quickly learn tricking and freerunning moves to go through the Parkour American Ninja Course. NOTE: $5 fee to go through course and waiver required that can be downloaded on Registration page. Learn how and try Zumba dancing, and find out about Zumba dance lessons if you would like more. Look inside an ambulance and talk to the first responders so you know what to do in emergencies, and maybe become one in the future. Take part in the Child Identification Program and receive a card with picture and personal information to help find you in case you ever go missing. |
